This Belgian Strong Ale has a deep mahogany color and a small, but dense head. The body is thick, almost oily, whilst characteristic “Belgian acidity” balances well with a solid sweetness. Dried plums and apples, bergamotte, cherries, honey cake, chocolate, toffee and caramel dominate the aroma and taste. The aftertaste is of subdue roast aroma and balancing hops. Top fermented with Trappist yeast.
